The mission of the Colorado Issues Research Center is to research civic and political engagement in Colorado by individuals and groups as well as to provide research services to the academic community and the community at large.

> Students gain real-world experience  of applied social science through participation in surveys and other research projects

> Students participate in CIRC advisory board meetings

> Students join the CIRC student club to learn more about their community—both local and global—through field trips, invited speakers, focus groups, and similar activities
